How do I get started?

What happens to my resume once it is received by AMSYS?

It is reviewed by our expert team of recruiters/ agents and then it is entered into our database which will then be used when matching candidates with open positions. Please note that your information will never be sent to a client without your permission.

What companies does AMSYS place candidates with?

AMSYS works with many different companies including large, midsize and small companies, mostly in Texas – Louisiana Gulfcoast region including Houston and surrounding areas. We support most construction projects but specialize in the petrochemical industries

What is the standard contract length for contract employees?

AMSYS does not have a standard length of employment for our contract employees. The length of the contract employment is determined by our client's needs, and varies from client to client and project to project.

Does AMSYS recruit for positions outside of Texas-Louisiana GulfCoast area?

Although the majority of our business is in TX-LA Gulfcoast regions (particularly Houston area), our recruiters routinely search for candidates from all across the United States.

Does AMSYS provide resume writing or interview preparation assistance?

AMSYS will not write your resume for you, but we will assist you with resume writing tips, suggestions and interview preparation assistance.

How often are AMSYS Contractors paid?

AMSYS pays bi-weekly.

Does AMSYS pays for relocation expenses?

It is not standard practice but it is discussed and reviewed in case by case. In some instances an employer may be willing to pay for relocation

Does AMSYS offer insurance to employees?

It is not standard practice. Employees usually obtain their own insurance

What kind of benefits do you offer?

AMSYS may at times, and depending on position, offer benefit options for our contractors including medical, vision, dental, 401K and manager approved training
